Hike 2.  Tibbet Knob - Big and Little Schloss.

Parking:  Shuttle: RT81, RT42 to Columbia Furnace, RT575 (Wolf Gap Rd), RT608 - RT88, RT92 (High Head Mtn.) parking.  Leave one car there.  RT. 92, RT675, RT789, RT691 - Trailhead Parking.

Trails: Tibbet Knob Tr. - Wolf Gap Recreation Area - Mill Mtn. Tr. - Tuscarora Tr. - Little Sluice Mtn. Tr.- Little Schloss.

Notes:  It was heavily raining all day and we were completely wet.  Overlook hike without overlooks.  During the official hike it was sunny and the weather was great in general.

 

Hike 3.  Falls Ridge - Fat Mtn Tr.

Parking:  RT66 - RT81 - RT42 to Columbia Furnace - RT675 - RT717 - RT701 almost to the dead end -  Shoulder Parking.  Try to avoid.

Trails: Falls Ridge Tr. - Old Blazed Tr. - Waterfall  - Old Blazed Tr. - Fat Mtn. Tr. (lower loop) - bushwhack - pipeline - bushwhack - pipeline up - continuation of the North Mtn. Tr. to the second pipeline and back - North Mtn. Tr. - Falls Ridge Tr.

Notes:  Very hard hike.  Made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot on this hike.  Recommend to avoid the bushwhacking part - old Fat Mtn. Tr. from this hike.
