Hike 5.  Caledonia State Park.  Locust Gap Trail -  AT - Hosack Hollow Trail

Parking: Parking for the Caledonia Park can be overloaded in the prime season.  Parking in the AT loop is OK, but the road is gravel and may detereorate after a storm.

Notes: I wasn't impressed with the Caledonia Park, although we did only a section of it overly developed and crowded.  No overlooks.  On the other hand I enjoyed very much the nonAT section of the second loop that we did - great overlooks, beutiful pond, pine and rhododendron forest with pretty streams.

Warnings: There was a lot of shooting when we did the AT loop even though it was Sunday.  Wear orange!  AT was completely iced up.
